Ermington is one of the suburbs we serve most often. Many of our families live within ten minutes of the centre, dropping off on the way to work in North Ryde, Macquarie Park or the city.

Why Ermington families come to us

Ermington's a quiet family suburb between Parramatta and Ryde, with a lot of young families. We take children from 6 weeks all the way to six years, a short drive from Ermington. That continuity matters when you have more than one child, or when you're planning for a baby to grow up in one familiar centre until school.

We also include all daily meals, cooked on site, and disposable nappies for our youngest two rooms. Families coming from Ermington often tell us they were spending an hour each weekend packing daycare snacks and folding endless changes of clothes. Here, all meals are included.

The drive in

From most of Ermington, the route is straightforward: head east along Victoria Road, turn into Mons Avenue. The centre is on the right at number 42, with parking on site. From the far side of Ermington (closer to River Road), it's quicker via Spurway Street, then Bowen Street to Mons Avenue.

Morning peak through Victoria Road can add five to ten minutes. Most of our Ermington families are in by 8:30am to avoid the worst of it.

Children move up to the next room when they're ready, usually around their birthday, so friendships formed in the baby room often carry through to school age.

Practical bits

Hours are 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We're open 50 weeks a year, closing for public holidays and 2 weeks at Christmas. Daily fees are $180 (Joeys), $170 (Jungle), $165 (Star and Rainbow) before Child Care Subsidy. From 5 January 2026, all CCS-eligible families get at least 72 subsidised hours per fortnight (the 3-Day Guarantee). What you actually pay after subsidy depends on your family circumstances and the daily rate cap.

The centre's been on Mons Avenue since November 2007. Corinne, our director, has been here since the first day.
